dynamic, visionary leader to join the newly formed Commercial
Analytics & Insights (CA&I) organization as Head of Data COE
out of our Cambridge, MA office. As Head of Data COE, you will play
a key role in transforming data operations into strategic assets
that drive commercial excellence across business units. Reporting
to Head of I&A, USBU, you will support the development and
execution of Takeda's data strategy and AI data initiatives to
support business growth, operational efficiency, and patient
outcomes. This role focuses on upcoming supporting launches while
building capabilities to enhance performance across Takeda's
portfolio of growth brands. You will closely partner with DD&T,
US business leadership, BU/franchise heads, and functional groups
(ex. finance, sales, market access, patient services and medical)
leadership teams to enable them to have timely action insights that
facilitate the right decision-making How you will contribute:
Support the development and execution of data and AI strategy that
aligns with Takeda's business objectives across multi-functional
and multi-therapy area Collaborate in transforming fragmented data,
analytics, and reporting into unified systems that serve as
strategic assets Drive change management initiatives to create a
data-driven culture across the organization Build partnerships with
DD&T, commercial, medical, and R&D leadership to enable
data-driven decision making Foster Human-AI Collaboration and
Change Management Support Data-Driven Decision Making and Strategy
implementation in large pharma Support the establishment and
maintenance of robust data governance frameworks that ensure data
integrity, security, and compliance across all data domains
Collaborate with Enterprise Governance & Quality organization to
implement consistent standards and practices Support the
development of data quality measurement systems and improvement
processes across therapy areas Work with specialized data quality
teams focused on functional areas across TAs (GI, Neuro, Plasma,
Rare Diseases) Ensure regulatory compliance in all data management
practices Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree
required, Advanced degree (master’s or PhD) in Data Science,
Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or
related field; MBA is preferred. Minimum 15 years of progressive
experience in data, analytics, and technology leadership roles
required. 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or
healthcare industry with a deep understanding of data and analytics
operations required Proven track record leading teams in a matrix
organization Experience supporting enterprise-wide data governance
programs and AI capabilities Success record in supporting
organizational transformation initiatives Strong expertise in data
governance, data quality management, master data management, and
data products Understanding of AI and machine learning applications
in pharmaceutical commercial operations Experience in fostering
Human-AI Collaboration and Change Management Support for
Data-Driven Decision Making and Strategy in large pharma AI and
Machine Learning Proficiency with GenAI exposure in Pharma
Entrepreneurial agility in delivering innovation, operational
efficiencies, and creative ways of solving data and insight gaps
through data strategy execution Knowledge of healthcare data
sources, patient analytics, and HCP targeting models Experience
with cloud-based analytics platforms and modern data architecture
Understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations data
requirements and workflows Familiarity with regulatory requirements

understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the

practices. For Location: Boston, MA U.S. Base Salary Range:
$208,200.00 - $327,140.00 The estimated salary range reflects an
anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered
may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of
the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant
experience, specific and unique skills, level of education
attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and
the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they
will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be
in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the
job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term
and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to
participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and
company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic
life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer

U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar
year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to
