Senior Associate Scientist, you will provide analytical support for
upstream and downstream commercial manufacturing support labs
within the manufacturing support laboratory group. You will report
to the Associate Director of Analytical Manufacturing Sciences. How
you will contribute: Provide analytical support for upstream and
downstream commercial Manufacturing Support Labs. Design and
complete routine / non-routine analytical assays Provide process
samples testing with HPLC/UPLC, CE-SDS, iCIEF, plate-based assays
such as enzyme activity assay, ELISA, PCR, and promptly Maintain
lab notebooks, report data promptly Write documents/reports,
present findings in meetings Ensure quality analytical data is
provided following project timelines Get data peer reviewed before
reporting the results to the submitters Troubleshot any issues and
escalate them Collaborate with inter-site teams for assay
transfers, troubleshooting and establishing assays What you bring
to Takeda: BS in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related disciplines
with 3 years of relevant experience or MS with 2 years of relevant
experience Hands-on experience in multiple analytical techniques
related to protein/antibody characterization Knowledge of cGMP
environment as applied to analytical sample testing Analytical
experience with HPLC/UPLC, plate based assays (HCP, ProA, DNA)
using ELISA, PCR is required Experience working with enzyme
activity assays Team player, participating on teams Experience
working with CE-SDS and iCIEF. Understand common mammalian cell
culture and protein purification processes including commonly used
commonly used columns and buffers Provide data promptly Important
Considerations: At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver
quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our
manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the
quality of the product. You may: Work in a controlled environment
requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the
head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional
hearing protection for loud areas. Need to remove all make-up,
jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and artificial fingernails
while in the manufacturing environment. Work in a cold, wet
environment. Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked
to work supplemental hours. Work around chemicals such as alcohol,
acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
Travel may be required for this position, occasionally, both

USA - MA - Lexington - BIO OPS U.S. Base Salary Range: $70,000.00 -
$110,000.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated
range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend
on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the
individual applicant for the position, years of relevant
experience, specific and unique skills, level of education
attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and
the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they
will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be
in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the
job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term
and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to
participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and
company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic
