Job Description:

-The ideal candidates are results-driven, passionate about the green industry and contributing to growth. -Seeking experienced Landscape Maintenance Tech -to maintain athletic fields on Nantucket.Applicants must have experience in cutting commercial -grass and have an active pesticide license to apply fertilizer and herbicides. Ideal candidate will have golf course experience in using commercial mowers and spray equipment.Responsibilities Include:--- Mix, prepare, and apply chemical solutions (e.g., insecticides, herbicides, fungicides) in order to control pests, weeds, or plant disease using a sprayer or spreader
--- Run spray and application equipment, including rider spreader.
--- Mow, aerate, top-dress, and sod/sprig/seed both new and existing turf
--- Spread granular fertilizer and liquid spray applications
--- Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform turf maintenance dutiesActive pesticide license to apply fertilizer and herbicides
A valid drivers license is required with a good driving record. -
