circumstances.About this role:This role is part of a team of
specialists that provide family-centered services that support and
enable families to meet their child's individual needs through
education, training, and support. You will work with families in a
hybrid of telehealth and in-person sessions to provide services.
While working closely and learning from a team of specialists who
are experts in children's physical, cognitive, communication,
social, emotional, and adaptive development. In addition to
on-the-job learning, KDC offers professional development activities
and training necessary to maintain relevant certifications and
licensures. $2,000 Sign-On BONUS!Full-Time and Part-Time positions
Available!In this role, you'll get to:
Partner with families to identify
each child's strengths and developmental needsTogether develop an
Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)Work closely with a
transdisciplinary team on program planning and delivery of services
Oversee case management and referral services to assigned
caseloadConduct home visits to provide developmental stimulation,
parent training, and supportFacilitate parent/child and/or child
groups Complete reports of assessments, progress reports, IFSPs,
and discharge summariesMaintain appropriate communication with
physicians, clinics, and community agencies participating in each
child's careProvide information to parents that enable them to make
informed decisions for their child's progressThis role allows for
flexibility in creating your own schedule to visit with families!We
are looking for people who have: -
Bachelor's degree, or higher, in one
or more of the following fields: Infants and toddlers (includes
Early Intervention and early childhood education), Child
development or child studies, Education or special education,
Psychology300+ hours of experience with children under the age of 5
years oldStrong written and verbal communicationExcellent
organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsA valid
driver's license and reliable transportationDid someone say
