Maplewood Senior Living, an innovative, forward-thinking senior living provider, strives to inspire our associates to learn, develop, and succeed. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a devoted and caring Regional Human Resources Director to become part of our family.

Maplewood Senior Living is seeking full-time Regional Recruitment and Engagement Specialist for Massachusetts.

The Regional Recruitment and Engagement Specialist is responsible for overseeing all recruitment efforts for the Massachusetts-based communities.  Primary duties will include providing support to the human resources (HR) department and associates of Maplewood Senior Living, in addition to recruitment, on-boarding, associate engagement and must understand regulatory compliance for all personnel files. This position also prepares documents, background screening, interview questions, reference checks and other relevant support to the hiring/on-boarding process. Regional Recruitment and Engagement Specialist must be able to explain job requirements and duties to candidates. Other tasks include keeping records of all candidates, participating in recruitment events, developing relationships with career placement contacts at local schools, and developing new channels and resources for attracting new hires.


  • Associate’s degree and related work experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Demonstrated, successful recruiting experience specific to healthcare, independent/assisted/senior living communities or related fields
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on goals in a fast-paced work environment
  • Prior Human Resources/recruiting experience required
  • SHRM/PHR certification preferred

Maplewood Senior Living conducts pre-employment screening including background check, drug screening and reference checks.
