GENERAL SUMMARY Provides direct supervision and training to program participants or crew at community worksites. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS+ Fosters good working relationships with employers. + Maintains record of issues and/or concerns at specific worksite and communicates needs to vocational coordinator. + Provides individual and/or group supervision to program participants placed in specific jobs according to employer specifications. May provide training to enhance quality of work product. + Provides transportation for program participants to and from worksites, ensuring compliance with safety requirements. + Writes and develops individual progress notes/assessments on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, as required. + Implements and writes vocational assessments as it relates to industry standards. + Attends all meetings, as requested. + Fosters the maximum amount of individual independence, decreasing the level of support as specified in the individuals plan. + Serves as a role model to participants involved in the program. + Serves as mandated reported for suspected cases of abuse and/or neglect to Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC). OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Performs in-house work supervisor duties, as assigned + Serves as relief/back-up driver for transportation + Performs additional duties, as assigned. PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES + High school diploma. Bachelors degree preferred. + Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities in community based employment settings. + Valid drivers license in the state of Massachusetts. + Ability to model and teach occupational tasks. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY + Supervises program participants assigned to community worksites. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS + Normal working conditions.
