Job Description:
Our client, a leading global logistics provider, is seeking a
Customer Care Specialist to join their team. As a Customer Care
Specialist, you will be part of the Customer Service Department
supporting the Customer Care Locations team. The ideal candidate
will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving
abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully
in the organization. Job Title: Customer Care Specialist Location:
Wakefield, MA Pay Range: $28.90 an hour Shift: Monday - Friday 8am
- 4:30pm What's the Job? Ensure a positive customer experience
through proactive engagement and problem resolution. Maintain
real-time visibility of customer transactions using AirLOG and
other core systems. Collaborate with sales and operational teams to
develop customer-specific work instructions and continuous
improvement initiatives. Monitor and analyze customer KPI reports
to support service excellence and corrective actions. Handle
escalations efficiently and ensure timely communication with all
stakeholders. What's Needed? 3-5 years of freight forwarding or
third-party logistics experience. Knowledge of airfreight rules,
regulations, tariffs, and pricing. Strong systems competency,
including MS Office, ERP, and customer management systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work effectively under time pressures and prioritize
