Job Description Job Description One seeking a highly resourceful
and scrappy Operations Manager to support a broad range of critical
business functions. This role is ideal for a self-starter who
thrives in dynamic environments, excels at solving problems, and is
eager to take ownership of operational workflows, administrative
systems, purchasing logistics, office infrastructure, and key
HR-related activities. The Operations Manager will be a core
generalist who keeps the organization running smoothly — managing
processes, coordinating teams, maintaining systems, and improving
efficiencies across ODIN’s growing engineering and EPC operations.
Core Responsibilities Office & Operations Management • Act as the
primary point of contact for office needs, equipment, and
administrative service vendors. • Maintain office systems,
supplies, equipment inventory, safety protocols, keys/badges,
access, and workspace organization and other office functions. •
Source, evaluate, and coordinate purchasing needs for office
supplies, equipment, materials, and services. • Issue purchase
orders, work with AP/AR, and maintain procurement records. •
Negotiate terms with suppliers for competitive pricing and delivery
timelines. • Track inventory and reorder thresholds proactively. HR
& People Operations Support • Support HR processes including
onboarding, offboarding, benefits enrollment support, HRIS updates,
and employment documentation. • Manage recruitment logistics
(posting roles, scheduling interviews, coordinating offers). •
Maintain personnel files, compliance records, and HR trackers. •
Help draft and update employee handbooks, policies, and employee
communications. • Assist with timekeeping, payroll paperwork, PTO
tracking, and HR compliance tasks. Process Improvement & Ad Hoc
Execution • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement
practical, scalable improvements. • Own special projects and
cross-departmental initiatives as assigned by leadership. • Provide
regular reporting on key operational metrics, trends, and risks. •
Work collaboratively across teams to ensure alignment and progress
on operational goals. Qualifications & Requirements Working
Environment • Office-based with the option for hybrid work as
appropriate. • Fast-paced, small-team environment where
adaptability and initiative are valued. • Occasional travel or
extended hours may be required for events, meetings, or deadlines.
Requirements Education • Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration, Operations Management, HR, Engineering Management,
or related field preferred. Experience • Minimum 3–5 years of
operational or administrative experience in professional services,
engineering/EPC, consulting, or technical operations. • Strong
administrative, project coordination, and multi-tasking experience.
• Experience supporting HR or people operations duties strongly
preferred. Skills & Competencies • Highly organized, self-directed,
and detail-oriented. • Excellent written and verbal communication
skills. • Strong problem solver with the ability to prioritize,
escalate appropriately, and follow through. • Proficient with
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint). •
Comfortable learning/adopting business systems such as HRIS, PM
software, ERP, timekeeping/payroll tools, and procurement tools. •
Comfortable working independently, managing ambiguity, and driving
tasks to completion. • A “can-do” attitude with a willingness to
