Progress. The Head of Immunology Development Operations will report
directly to the Therapeutic Area Development Head of I&I is a
leadership role managing critical operational aspects of the TA,
including resource planning, TA governance, leadership team
meetings, town halls off-sites and core organization wide

possible. Ready to get started? Main Responsibilities: - Member of
the I&I Therapeutic Leadership team providing direction for the
portfolio and management group. - Responsible for management of the
Therapeutic Area Review Committee (TARC) using knowledge of
projects, timelines and deliverables, link scheduling and
prioritization of topics to overall TA and Business Unit strategy.
Maintain SharePoint site, serve as TARC Secretary keeping and
distributing detailed minutes, coordinate with key functions
including S&BD and Research. - Responsible for coordination and
execution of other key TA governance committees such as Protocol
Review Committee (PRC) and TA Clinical Strategy Review meeting -
Support the Development of Disease Area Strategy in
cross-functional team workstream - Support the TA Development Head
with preparations for major meetings (either internal or external)
- Oversee TA communications including leading development of TA
newsletter and I&I Development Town Halls - Oversee development
and execution of process and procedure improvement initiatives
within TA. Assess, develop, and implement tools designed to
facilitate operational excellence initiatives within TA. - Act as
Resource for TA to advise and develop ad-hoc reports for project
teams, functional leadership based on industry best practices. -
Serve as liaison/interface to coordinate and potentially lead
cross-functional projects with other critical functions
(Commercial, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Strategy and CSO) and
Development. - Support preparation of business plans and requests
for TA funding. - Partner with Global Project Heads/Regional
Project Leads of Unit and business partners to ensure adequate
resource allocation. - Contribute to the preparation of regular
R&D portfolio review process. - Lead capacity planning with TA
members during planning process/cycle. Consolidate and follow-up TA
budget and headcounts. - Prepare appropriate dashboards for TA
leadership team. - Responsible for the effective implementation of
projects and activities aiming to develop a culture of excellence,
enhance knowledge and build skills across the TA. - Interface with
Enabling Functions to ensure compliance of the TA with company’s
standards. - Advise and assist with recruitment, training and
people development. Key Shared accountabilities: With Project
Management and TA Operational Lead: - Define project needs and
resource allocation With Finance and Project Management: - Define
budget needs and allocation (sites/projects/T&E/Training) With
HR and TA Head: - Elaborate recruitment and onboarding plans -
Collaborate on people development and management activities With
Purchasing & Legal: - Contracts, compliance and transparency About
You Qualifications - Bachelor's degree with 10 years international
experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences industry, Master's with
7 years /PhD/MD/PharmD with 5 years of pharma/life science industry
experience. - Prior Team Leader & Managerial experience, both
transversal and direct - Ideal candidate will have a mix of
clinical or scientific experience, project management skills and
financial/business background - Track record of accomplishments in
keeping teams on track, in meeting goals and managing conflicts -
Strong leadership & communication, verbal and presentation skills -
Open minded, critical thinker with strong analytical skills -
Ability to navigate the management matrix; Negotiation skills -
Knowledge of Product Development Process with broad
cross-functional experience, insight, and ability to manage at both
strategic and operational levels. - Demonstrated knowledge of the
overall biologic/pharmaceutical product development process, stages
of development, and role of different functional areas. - Requires
an acceptance of potential ambiguity surrounding assumption-based
analysis - Familiarity and comfort with budget reporting - Must be
professional, dedicated, and detail-orientated and have the
flexibility to travel domestically and internationally. - Excellent
oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and
computer skills. - Effective problem solving and analytical skills
to tackle and manage a broad range of issues and projects and
deliver innovative solutions - Strong organizational skills
required, including good time management skills. - Highly organized
and able to work independently on multiple tasks in a fast-paced
