Job Description:
RL Communities, a leader in senior living, seeks a skilled Sous
Chef to join our culinary team, dedicated to creating exceptional
dining experiences for our residents. Our commitment to enhancing

fundamental to revitalizing the body and spirit of our residents.
As a Sous Chef, you will work alongside our Executive Chef to
manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, aiding
with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and
adhering to regulatory and health standards. Ideal candidates will
exhibit a passion for service and a flair for creating nourishing,
appealing, and varied culinary offerings. Assist with the planning
and creation of menus, incorporating seasonal and resident
preferences. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in the
kitchen. Supervise and coordinate activities of cook and kitchen
staff. Assist in the management of kitchen inventory, including the
ordering and receiving of supplies. Ensure the quality and
freshness of ingredients and dishes. Train and develop kitchen
staff on proper techniques and skills. Uphold and embody RL
Communities’ standards of excellence and hospitality. Strong
culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines. Excellent
leadership and management abilities. Ability to work under
pressure. Skilled in budgeting and cost management. Proficiency in
