Job Description:
The Retail Assistant is responsible for delivering excellent
customer service to members and guests while assisting them with
finding, selecting and purchasing the right product. Employee
Housing AvailableEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist Retail
Manager with the day-to-day retail operationsCreate an atmosphere
that allows guests to feel welcome, comfortable, important, and
relaxedProvide excellent customer service while assisting
customersOperate cash register, complete paperwork and required
countsReceive and process stock inventory, assist with stock
managementPerform basic cleaning inside and outside the store
including trashProcess exchanges, returns, and refunds in
accordance with company policiesMaintain a clean and organized
environmentAvailable to work overtime when requiredOther duties as
assigned by ManagerSafety and Environmental ResponsibilitiesFollow
SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related
training.Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for
the task or work area.Report all accidents, injuries, spills and
near misses immediately.Technical and Physical RequirementsCustomer
Service experience preferredPrevious retail experience desiredPrior
marina experience preferredAbility to stand for long periods of
timeAbility to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, and reachAbility to lift
