Job Description:

Great opportunity for an experienced CT surgery PA to join a Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery team in the northern suburbs of Boston, MA.

Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA)
Must have a minimum of 2 yrs exp as a PA in the field of Cardiothoracic Surgery
Rotating days/nights/weekends
When in the OR the shifts are 10 hours - when covering the other shifts they are 13 hours
OR on call pay and call back pay
Duties include surgical first assist with both Cardiac and Thoracic surgical procedures, EVH, Endoscopic and Open Radial Artery Harvest, Robotic Thoracic Surgery, Pre and Post-Op, be proficient with placement and removal of chest tubes, central and arterial lines, temp epicardial pacing wires, Swan-Ganz cath, intra-aortic balloon pumps, sutures, and staples
