Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An occupational
therapy professional is needed to support school-aged children in a
travel position located in Nahant, MA. This role involves providing
specialized OT services within a school setting to enhance students
participation and success in their educational environment. Key
responsibilities include: Delivering skilled occupational therapy
interventions tailored to students developmental and educational
needs. Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to
design and implement effective individualized therapy plans.
Conducting assessments and documenting progress to ensure
compliance with educational and therapeutic standards. Providing OT
services during the Extended School Year (ESY) from July 8 to
August 9. Supporting school therapy sessions primarily on Wednesday
mornings. Potentially providing OT services three days per week
during the 2024/2025 school year, with further details forthcoming.
Qualifications and desired experience: Valid occupational therapy
licensure and certifications appropriate for school-based practice.
Experience delivering OT services in a school environment. Strong
communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with
multidisciplinary teams. Flexibility to travel to the assigned
