Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a MA RN license and a minimum of 3–5 years of nursing experience, including critical care background. /n /n Responsibilities/n - 4x10-hour day shifts per week, 7:30am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday with variability in day off - Rotating call required: Monday–Friday 6pm–11pm and Saturday–Sunday 7am–11am - Holiday coverage required; weekends as needed - Interventional Radiology department serving pediatric, adult, elderly, and acutely/chronically ill inpatient and outpatient populations - Nurse will assist radiologists with special procedures and perform conscious sedation monitoring - Specialized equipment used includes monitors, infusion pumps, O2 equipment, and ventilators - Provide nursing care to inpatient and outpatient populations across the age spectrum, including critically ill patients - Responsible for administering conscious sedation and other medications as appropriate - Administer care during radiological procedures and intervene in emergency situations - Provide patient and family health education and procedural information - Must be able to work independently without direct supervision - Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a reduced rate /n /n Requirements/n - Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - 3–5 years of nursing experience required - Critical care experience required - Travel nursing experience required - Proficiency in IV skills, physical assessment, and aseptic technique - Must be able to recognize and document contrast reactions and ECG changes - Computer skills required - Two professional references required for consideration - Active MA RN license must be in hand for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-675135.
