This role involves assessing patient needs and designing therapeutic activities tailored to help them reach their highest level of independence within their residential settings. The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients in their homes across various locations in the United States. Conduct patient assessments to determine their functional levels and occupational therapy needs at home. Develop and implement tailored therapy programs to enhance patients' ability to perform daily activities. Regularly reassess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Educate family members and caregivers on how to support the patient's therapy goals. Document patient care and progress thoroughly in compliance with both Aveanna and legal requirements. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Proven ability to develop and execute detailed care plans Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in using healthcare documentation software Ability to educate patients, families, and caregivers effectively Compassionate and patient-focused approach Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid state-specific Occupational Therapist license NBCOT Certification as an OTR CPR and First Aid certification preferred
