Job Description Job Description Blaire House of Tewksbury is seeking a Regional MDS Nurse to join our team and uphold our high standards of resident care. Our facility specializes in Short Term Care, Long Term Care, Rehabilitation, and Sub-acute care. Job Summary: Communicate, facilitate, instruct, direct, monitor, evaluate, and lead the assessment process. Coordinate gathering and sharing of clinical information for the MDS and RAI process. Monitor documentation to support payor claims. Qualifications: Education: RN graduated from an accredited, approved school of nursing. Current Massachusetts registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners. Training and Experience: Must have previous experience working on a nursing unit in a long-term care facility. Required to understand all regulatory requirements in the area of documentation, including but not limited , to all state and federal regulations. A necessity to understand OBRA, Medicare, Managed Care and case mix requirements. Knowledge of MDS, RAI and Care Planning Process. Must have excellent communication skills and possess team leadership. Essential to be computer literate and the ability to meet deadlines is a must.
