Job Description Job Description Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Locums in Massachusetts Practice Setting Inpatient setting Work in an Acute psychiatric unit/institute with 22 beds See an average of 6-10 patients per shift No required supervision of Advance Practice Providers or Residents/Teaching Schedule Coverage is for Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (Days, 8:00 AM start time) No Admissions Required Procedures and Cases Required Clinical Areas include Anxiety, Affective, ADD/ADHD, Personality, Eating, Development, Psychotic, and Organic disorders Treatment techniques include Pharmacotherapy, Group therapy, Family therapy, and ECT Familiarity With Involuntary commitments, Seclusion therapy, and Restraint application Requirements Physician Board Certified in Psychiatry - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry MUST be Child and Adolescent Certified Active MA License is required to bid on this locums role Required Certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ABLS Credentialing Requirements Estimated Credentialing Timeframe is 60 days Temporary privileges are available to speed up the process Company Description We are a healthcare staffing company that was founded in 2009 and focused on placing physicians and advanced practitioners in permanent, temporary, and executive-level roles.
