Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: North Chelmsford, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,715 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of one year in Ambulatory Surgery, Outpatient Surgery, or Operating Room nursing. License: Currently holds a nursing license in Massachusetts, free of sanctions and disciplinary actions. Certifications: Currently holds American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) or AHA approved equivalent. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within one year of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification preferred or must obtain within six months of request. Must-Have: Completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Operating Room. The nurse will assist in surgical procedures. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Maintaining patient safety and comfort during procedures is a priority. Adherence to infection control protocols is mandatory. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient vitals during surgery. Continual assessment of patient needs is expected. The ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations is critical. Teamwork and support of other nursing staff are essential components of this role. Compliance with hospital policies and procedures is required. Following up with patients post-surgery for recovery progress is part of the responsibilities.
