Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Concord, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a state of the art health care system in Concord, MA. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 7pm to 7:30am. /n - Reviews data in-patient record, including admission and current R.C. orders, patient history, physical exam, PFT values, ABG results, and laboratory data. /n - Set up and maintain respiratory equipment as instructed; Attends department meetings and in-services as instructed. /n - Performs patient assessment in order to monitor effects of therapy provided and documents this assessment in the patient chart. /n - Conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures to achieve and maintain adequate oxygenation, a patent's airway, including maintenance of adequate humidification. /n - Obtain and analyzes ABG's as ordered/ per policy. /n - Follows Department protocols, such as weaning protocol, patient ventilator monitoring, Cuff pressure monitoring, etc. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy (RT) program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). /n - 2 years of experience. /n - RRT or CRT from NBRC. /n - BLS and NRP required. /n - MA Licenses. /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
