Pay Information $2,548 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent acute care experience required License: RN license required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required Must-Have: Surgical stepdown experience at a Level 1 trauma center IMCU/Stepdown experience Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips Completion of a telemetry test and CC Med test on day one More than one previous travel assignment Description: The position is for a stepdown nurse on the PM shift. The average patient ratio is 1:3 to 1:5 if MedSurg patients are included. The unit sees post-operative patients requiring intermediate care transferred from PACU or SICU. Patient types include those recovering from cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplants.
