Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years PACU experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Strong PACU phase 1 recovery experience in large complex cases, including neuro, thoracic, vascular, and ortho spine. - Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks. - Must pass telemetry test on day one with a score of 84% or better. Description: This position requires working nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Every third weekend and every third holiday availability is needed. There is no on-call requirement. Floating to PACU may be required as needed. Preferred experience includes TNCC certification. Case types include trauma, pediatrics, ortho, general, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, neuro interventional radiology, and electrophysiology cases. The average number of cases per day ranges from 30 to 60. The unit operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
