$2,364 per week About The Position Job Title: ICU RN Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Duration:
13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 hours
(7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am) Experience: 2 years minimum ICU
experience, including cardiac experience License: Valid Nursing
License Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Recent
competencies in devices such as Impellas, CVVH, IABP, and LVADs
within the last 6 months Description: We are seeking an experienced
ICU RN for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care unit. The position
requires a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience with a strong
cardiac background. Candidates must have competencies in managing
devices including Impellas, CVVH, IABP, and LVADs within the last 6
months. ICU shifts will consist of day and night rotations with
every other weekend required. The RN will float to all intensive
care units as needed. The nurse-to-patient ratios may vary between
1:1 and 2:1 depending on acuity levels. All shifts will have
support from a charge nurse and patient care technicians. There is
in-house MD coverage and respiratory therapy available 24/7.
Registered Nurses will not be responsible for managing respiratory
equipment but must communicate effectively with the respiratory
team. RNs are expected to be familiar with tele-monitoring and may
need to read strips regularly. The schedule will be a participatory
time sheet approach, allowing for some flexibility in scheduling.
Availability for holiday and weekend shifts is expected. There will
be no call or standby requirements for this position.
Familiarization with units will be part of the onboarding process.
Charting will be conducted using Cerner Corporation - Soarian.
