seeking a RN Labor & Delivery who will provide high-quality,
patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor,
delivery, and immediate postpartum period. This role involves close
collaboration with obstetricians, midwives, neonatologists, and
other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of
patients and families during one of life’s most critical moments.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care during labor,
delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. Monitor maternal and
fetal vital signs, including fetal heart tones, contractions, and
progress of labor. Administer medications, including epidurals and
oxytocin, and assist with anesthesia procedures as needed. Prepare
for and assist during vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and
emergency obstetric procedures. Provide emotional support and
patient education to mothers and their families throughout the
childbirth experience. Collaborate with physicians, midwives,
anesthesiologists, and neonatal care teams to coordinate patient
care. Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies such as
hemorrhage, preeclampsia, or fetal distress. Document all nursing
care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Required
Qualifications: Active MA RN License AHA BLS and AHA ACLS. COVID
Vaccines Booster. 2 years Labor & Delivery experience. Preferred
