Job Description:
Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession:
Interventional Radiology Technician Specialty: Interventional
Radiology Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:30 AM - 06:00 AM
Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Required experience in
diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography,
embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal
interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, TIPS, dialysis
access/fistula work, Y90/SIRT experience. License: Valid State
Radiography License Certifications: ARRT certification, BLS
certification Must-Have: Candidates must be graduates of an AMA
approved program in Radiologic Technology. Candidates must have
ARRT certification and a valid State Radiography License.
Candidates must possess BLS certification. Description: Experience
in neuro, cardiac, or vascular surgery is necessary. The role
involves supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Procedures include but are not limited to angiography,
embolization, venous access, and venography. Additional
responsibilities may include myelography, abdominal interventions,
paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy. The technologist
collaborates with nurses, advanced practice providers, and
physicians to deliver a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
The work encompasses various clinical areas including IR, CT-guided
procedures, vascular surgery, cardiac hybrid procedures, and
endoscopic interventions. This position requires a commitment to
providing cutting-edge care and supporting a dynamic team
environment.
