Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Mobile X-Ray Job Specialty: X-Ray Job Duration: Not specified Shift: 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years not specified License: State licensure in Massachusetts Certifications: ARRT Certification Must-Have: Valid driver's license in good standing, compliance with health and operational requirements, vaccination against COVID-19 or proper exemption documentation Job Description: Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation. Transport and unload portable X-Ray equipment from a company-provided vehicle and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician. Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images. Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (If required) Scan exam-related paperwork/billing documents daily per protocol. Communicate regularly, efficiently, and professionally with peers, management, dispatch department, and clients. Radiologic Technologists are responsible for all job duties as described in the full job description, Associate Handbook, or mandated by management, in addition to other assigned duties. With the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys, this weight decreases. However, pushing/pulling the equipment in a facility or home can increase the weight. 50 lbs. of force (or more) can occur 16 to 24 times a day.
