Job Description iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Duration: 11 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel L&D RN – Plymouth, MA Estimated Pay: ~$3,000/week gross Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays Location Restriction: No local travelers within 50 miles of facility Unit Description: The Birthplace is a 12-bed unit featuring private rooms for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care. It includes a nursery staffed by obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, pediatricians, neonatologists, and RNs. The unit also has a 2-bed triage and 6-bed postpartum area. Nurses provide care across labor, delivery, postpartum, newborn advanced fetal monitoring, breastfeeding education, and neonatal resuscitation. Requirements: - Current Massachusetts RN license (required at submission) - Experience in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, NICU (Level 3), and Special Care Nursery (Level 2) required - Postpartum experience preferred - COVID vaccination series and booster required (proof at submission) - AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP required upon hire - Recent EFM continuing education or must complete within 3 months of hire - Pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests via Zoom prior to assignment (one attempt only, 85% passing score, no retake) - Orientation offered biweekly Additional Preferences: - OR circulating and scrub experience preferred - Experience working in continuing care/special care nursery or NICU environments preferred Other Details: - Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call hours) - Must be available for interview with dates/times provided at submission - No travelers who worked at this facility in any capacity in the last 6 months will be accepted (6-month separation required) - ALL requested time off (RTO) must be included with submission - Nurse will fulfill roles including OR scrub and circulating duties About iDEAL Hire iDeal Travel Staffing is dedicated to working with the best of the best in travel healthcare.
