Job Summary:Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Nantucket, Massachusetts.This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, with a shift of 8 hours per day.Key Responsibilities:

• Administer diagnostic testing procedures to determine the extent of patient impairment and prognosis for improvement.
• Identify pertinent patient problems and set objective, measurable treatment goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, adapting equipment and therapy techniques as needed.
• Re-evaluate patients, modify treatment plans, and procedures based on patient progress.
• Coordinate and perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies with the Radiology Department.
• Provide objective, analytical documentation of patient care, patient/family education, and information regarding units of services.
• Communicate with medical/allied health personnel regarding patient progress, needs, and discharge planning.Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in the fields of audiology and speech-language pathology.
  • At least one (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time professional experience as a speech therapist required.
  • Current, valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathology license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration of Speech-Language Pathology Audiology required.
  • Primarily Outpatient Pediatrics with a lower volume of Inpatient & Outpatient Adults.
  • Experience in performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
