Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:The Chief Human Resources
Officer (CHRO)/Associate Vice President leads and strengthens the
Cape Cod Community College community in accordance with human
resources policies, procedures, and practices, fostering a
supportive workplace where faculty and staff can focus on enabling
student success. The CHRO -serves on the President's cabinet and is
responsible for strategic human resource planning to ensure faculty
and staff retention and recruiting to position the College as an
employer of choice, compliant with current regulations and
practices, and aware of trends within higher education. The CHRO
-promotes and monitors the College's Diversity, Equity, and
Inclusion goals increasing our inclusive climate for recruitment,
onboarding, and retention of employees from diverse backgrounds.The
CHRO -is responsible for the employment process, compensation,
payroll and benefits administration, administration of the
collective bargaining agreements, and supervision of HR staff. The
CHRO works closely with academic and administrative leaders
supporting their efforts and aligning practices and procedures, and
fosters employee engagement through the bolstering of the
onboarding process and the design and implementation of training

COMPENSATION: Annual salary range of $130,000 - $140,000, dependent
upon qualifications. -Includes participation in a comprehensive
employee benefits program including option to participate in
Massachusetts State Employees' Retirement System. Full-time,
