Job Summary: The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for the major installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems. Work involves performance of skilled plumbing tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment. Routine maintenance, service, and repair work performed independently and also while training/supervising apprentices. Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures Excellent math skills Ability to read blueprints and schematics Ability to handle the physical workload and perform physical labor for extended periods of time. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal skills Willing to work in all types of weather Qualifications Desired: 3 years' experience in plumbing, maintenance or related field Experience in both residential and light commercial plumbing Excellent verbal skills Strong interpersonal skills Energetic personality
