Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school is seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification to support students during the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract position will be based in Newport, NH, offering an opportunity to impact student development within a structured educational environment. Location: Newport, NH Contract Duration: August 2026 to June 2027 Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 32-37.5 hours per week Position: 1 Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Key Responsibilities: Implement behavior intervention plans and collect data to monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and adjust behavior strategies Provide direct one-on-one support to students exhibiting challenging behaviors under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Specialist Maintain accurate records of interventions and progress reports Assist with training staff and family members on behavior management techniques Preferred Qualifications: Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working in school settings supporting students with behavioral challenges Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams Ability to adapt interventions based on ongoing observation and data collection Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to student success by applying applied behavior analysis strategies in a supportive school setting.
