Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This full-time position is ideal for a dedicated
Special Education Teacher with expertise in supporting young
learners with intensive needs. Serving students from PreK through
grade 2, this role focuses on providing targeted instruction and
support within an early childhood school setting. The teacher will
work primarily with students who have autism, developmental delays,
and limited verbal communication skills, requiring proficiency with
AAC devices and specialized strategies to foster communication and
learning. Responsibilities include designing and implementing
individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with
multidisciplinary teams, and adapting curriculum to meet the unique
needs of each student. This position demands a compassionate,
patient approach and a strong understanding of severe special
education requirements. Qualifications and Experience: - Valid
Massachusetts Special Education Teacher Certification - Licensure
for working with students with severe special needs preferred -
Experience with PreK-2 populations - Proficient with AAC devices
and communication strategies for nonverbal students - Knowledgeable
about autism spectrum disorders and developmental delays - Strong
classroom management skills tailored to intensive needs programming
