Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to cover
a maternity leave at an elementary school setting in Norfolk, VA.
This contract role spans from late September through mid-December,
serving elementary-aged students with speech and language needs.
The position requires providing on-site support, working 37.5 hours
per week, Monday through Friday. Key Qualifications: Active
Virginia SLP license Experience working with elementary school-aged
children Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
collaborate with educators and families Ability to assess,
diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in an educational
setting Commitment to delivering high-quality, individualized care
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations
for students within the assigned caseload Develop and implement
effective intervention plans tailored to each child's needs Work
closely with teachers and school staff to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with
school policies Participate in meetings and collaborate on IEP
development when applicable Location: Elementary School, Norfolk,
