Job Description:
Position: Senior Analyst (Analytics/BI Verticals) Duties: Interface with internal business users/stakeholders
(Marketing, Logistics, and Customer Service) to develop analyses that lead
to actionable insights that accelerate profitable growth. Wrangle
data from multiple sources including sales, inventory, product, and
customer databases to create integrated views that can be used to drive
decision making. Work with several large and complex SQL and Vertica
databases. Utilize OLAP reporting technology, such as cubes, MDX, and data
mining techniques. Design and build reports, dashboards, and analyses
in Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau. Requirements: Bachelor's (or higher) degree in economics,
finance, business administration, information systems or related field or
related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two
(2) years of experience developing analytical solutions for
business decision making. One year of experience must include:
identifying operational process improvement opportunities and driving
concurrent improvements in people, process and technology; developing of
Analytics solutions leveraging the latest data analysis techniques for
large quantities of structured and unstructured data; developing
presentations using PowerPoint, and reporting on business case analysis and
revenue analysis using Excel; supporting cross functional teams of
engineers, data scientists, and other specialists throughout the strategic
growth initiative development process, and developing strategic
roadmaps; supporting business cases and financial strategy for product development, including defining business goals, creating
execution steps, and analyzing business return; interfacing with
cross-functional teams, UE designers, graphic designers, and QA teams throughout
the process improvement lifecycle; performing experimental design
and hypothesis testing including A/B testing and multivariate
testing (MVT); using historical data to predict target markets, customer
segments, messaging and spending; and evaluating predictive models
including ROI analysis and back testing on historical data for evaluating
