Description The Senior Superintendent Responsibilies: Oversee all field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Lead and manage on-site construction teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency. Coordinate subcontractor and supplier activities to maintain project schedules and workflow. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry best practices. Serve as the primary point of contact for field operations, working closely with the project management team. Conduct regular site inspections, addressing any issues that arise and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports. Participate in project meetings, providing insights on schedule, logistics, and construction challenges. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Profile The ideal Senior Superintendent Candidate: 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in large-scale projects ($50M preferred). Proven experience managing public/academic/K-12 construction projects (preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams. Proficiency with construction management software, including Procore, P6, and BIM/VDC. Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A track record of successfully delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.
