Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for writing technical documentation and
developing examples to teach technical audience how to use
MathWorks sophisticated software to design, model and simulate
engineering systems; writing goal-oriented content that explains
concepts and techniques of Embedded Coder and Simulink products;
developing examples and tutorials to reinforce concepts,
demonstrate approaches, and help customers ramp up quickly; working
with the user community to develop online help that supports
customer goals; identifying use cases, workflows, user tasks, and
information needs; working hands-on with MathWorks software and
using this experience to write and explain practical engineering
and programming concepts and procedures; participating in product
planning, design review, and testing; and helping drive development
based on user goals. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and no experience. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in
job offered or five (5) years of experience in technical writing,
teaching, or development of automatic code generation
technologies. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise performing object-oriented programming
using MATLAB and C++, including using C/C++ to implement embedded
systems. Demonstrated expertise writing technical documentation using
markup language -- XML or LaTeX. Demonstrated expertise teaching MATLAB and developing
university-level curriculum and laboratory tutorials of
Simulink. Demonstrated expertise in model-based simulation to solve
real-world problems in the image processing, embedded systems, and
