Job Description:

Growing software company seeks an experienced technical delivery consultant with interest in joining a small and rapidly growing company.

The ideal candidate will have client-facing consultative experience, and should possess strong technology knowledge across the most popular web and application platforms and operating systems. Requires good analytical skills, and the ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. This position is ideal for candidates who want to grow and develop with the company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Install and configure the applications within client environments and/or on hosted solution by working effectively with client IT personnel

Work with clients to determine ideal implementation solution architecture, taking into consideration product suite and customer platforms, integration needs and constraints

Analyze and translate business, information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint outlining solutions to achieve business objectives

Consult with clients and deliver integration with upstream, downstream, and workflow applications, leveraging the published APIs of the product suite

Assist the Business Analysts in the analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities about business processes, people, technology, etc.

Provide Level 2 customer support for questions related to the technical aspects of the product suite

Requirements include:

Strong hands-on technical skills, current and relevant experience in Enterprise Java and application deployment/configuration; ability to effectively alternate between detail and conceptual levels

Prior consulting experience as part of a product company or systems integration consultancy, especially in the area of solution architecture is strongly desired.

Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

Showing good judgment, problem solving and ability to interpret/adapt solutions or approaches when formulating responses to issues or concerns

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical resources both at the client and within internal development teams.

Ability to multitask and work on multiple complex tasks that come together under one deadline

Self-starter and quick learner

Ability to travel in North America, the UK, Continental Europe and possibly other global destinations

Experience/Education:

7+ years experience with systems delivery, with emphasis on packaged software product implementation

BA/BS Degree

Enterprise Java, J2EE

XML

Java Application servers Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogic

Web services

Relational Databases Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL

Document Management / Workflow a plus (e.g., SalesForce, Sharepoint, Alfresco)

Knowledge of document automation and enterprise contract management solutions a plus
