Job Description:
Our client, a leading national wholesaler serving the restaurant
industry, is seeking an experienced Process Improvement Consultant
for a 4 month engagement. This fully remote role will focus on
enhancing Accounts Payable workflows, strengthening controls,
improving efficiency, and developing productivity reporting. The
ideal consultant will bring strong accounting expertise, a
process?driven mindset, and the ability to create clear
documentation and metrics that support accuracy and accountability
across AP operations. Job Title: Process Improvement Consultant –
Accounts Payable Location: Fully remote Pay Rate: $50-$60/hour (W2,
based on experience). What’s the Job? Document current Accounts
Payable processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop productivity metrics and reporting to measure invoice
processing volume and enhance team accountability. Perform vendor
master data cleanup and validation to strengthen controls and
reduce fraud risk. Create process documentation, workflows, and
standard operating procedures to support consistency and training.
Analyze AP performance data and collaborate with stakeholders to
recommend efficiency improvements. What’s Needed? Bachelor’s degree
in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of
related experience. Strong background in Accounts Payable,
Accounting, and FP&A. Experience with process improvement,
workflow documentation, and operational reporting. Ability to
analyze complex data and develop clear, actionable insights. What’s
