Position: Cash Reconciliation AnalystPrimary Location: Cape Cod/ RemoteEmployment Status: ExemptReports To: Director of Revenue CycleDescription Updated: April 19, 2023SummaryThe Cash Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for payment validations, customer service, correspondence within EPIC and SFTP site. Reconciliation Analyst must ensure that all processes meet all government mandated procedures for integrity and compliance.Essential FunctionsProduce daily finance reports including month end reports.Reconcile all bank accounts for Outer Cape Health Services.Maintain patient accounts and performing all billing functions.Review payment variance log from vendor and assist with missing items.Assist with payments being posted to the GL for legacy (EcW) payments.Report recommending corrective actions if needed and assist in recommending quality improvement procedures.Communicate with the Director of Revenue Cycle to keep abreast of potential risk exposure related to cash processes and discrepancies.Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.Upload remits into STFP site if needed.Post payments in EPIC manually.Work a variety of claims denials including but not limited to;
