DescriptionAccountemps has an exciting new part-time opportunity as a Staff Accountant! This is a temporary to fill-time role located in Weymouth, MA.Primary responsibilities of the part-time Staff Accountant:

• Daily & monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts to ensure timely & accurate recording of A/P & A/R activity.
• Confirm timely & accurate Customer billing; verify accuracy of invoices, credit memos, application of Customer prepayments & related general ledger postings.
• Confirm application of Customer payments; assist with research of unidentified cash receipts; verify all Customer prepayment balances & make necessary Customer/payment adjustments.
• Coordinate Customer inquiries & requests with Billing Team & assist as needed.
• Participate in month-end & year-end close processes; reconcile assigned G/L accounts, provide requested reports, reconciliations, metrics & KPIs to CFO.
• Reconcile cash weekly
• Assist in the preparation of weekly financial reports; provide internal daily bank activity reports.
• Maintain Company data confidentiality.
• Ad-hoc and special projects duties as requestedRequirementsRequirements of the part-time Staff Accountant:
  • Minimum of 3 years of Accounting experience.
  • Experience with ERP accounting software preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively & professionally both written & verbally in fluent English within the Company as well as with vendors & customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & overall Team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task & prioritize work to maximize efficiency & meet established deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, work ethic & attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
