Job Description:

Working under the direction of the Engineer - Senior Team Lead 4, will

be responsible for enhancing and re-designing the code generator back-

end by leveraging internal database technology; expanding the

capabilities of Embedded Coder product to allow better interaction with

the automatically generated code from Simulink (a Model-Based Design

Product); advancing the core technology in Embedded Coder that enables

automatic code generation from Simulink, which can be found in thousands

of real-life products around the world ranging from cell-phones to

aircraft engines; and participating in all aspects of software

development: collecting requirements, writing specifications, coding,

testing and collaborating with other teams.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in

Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations

Research or Mathematics and no experience.

OR

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering,

Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research or

Mathematics and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5)

years of experience in development or technical support of Simulink-

based applications.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise debugging large-scale systems for

Controls System Design, Signal Processing, Communication and Production

Code Generation Applications using Simulink and Model Reference.

• Demonstrated expertise in customization of auto-generated code

from Simulink using Simulink Coder and Embedded Coder.

• Demonstrated expertise programming and debugging algorithms

written in MATLAB, C, C++ and TLC.

• Demonstrated expertise writing code to read and write to and

from SQL-based databases.
